Application Characteristics

The majority of applications developed by Mission run in Web-based environments on Microsoft platforms using Windows 2000/2003 servers with SQL Server databases and Windows XP clients. The main development tools used are VB.NET, .NET Framework, ASP.NET and Crystal Reports (both Client and Server based). Older applications were developed using Visual Basic 5.0 and 6.0, and many of them are now being rewritten for the Web-based ASP.NET environment.

Although Mission primarily develops MS Windows based applications, we have in-house mainframe expertise and we have developed numerous systems that interface with IBM mainframes.
